The listing says "Texan import in 2005, then stored for 4 years", then
marky bought it.
The VIN doesn't show up in the usual places as being a UK car, so it's been hiding all this time, from what I can tell.
Googling it it certainly was in Texas, and owned by "Raine":

1096 has about 22k miles on it...was generally a "show" car.....it was in good condition, but not up to my standards so i am starting work on a proper restore..for daily driving and show.
and now it has 27,000 on he clock, so that certainly stacks up. Having no rust sounds like a bonus!
