BACK TO THE FUTURE DELOREAN EXHIBITION SHOW CAR UNIQUE

M and D Legal Services have been asked to sell several important vehicles from a private collection. These vehicles have been used for display purposes and on exhibition. All will be listed on ebay. We have all the documentation of the vehicles in our possession and these will be supplied to the new purchaser on full payment.

The first vehicle is a rare Delorean Motor Car.

This was originally purchased as a set of three cars (The original A Team Van, and KITT).

The latter were used by Universal Studios in their theme parks.

This Delorean is fitted out as a Back To The Future car and although it does resemble the film car it is slightly different and may have been a Back To The Future ride car, as the Universal Studios Ride cars do look different from those in the film, however we are not 100% sure of this or much of it‘s other history. However it has been extensively used throughout the World as an exhibition vehicle.

We are unsure if the car runs but apparently it did before going on exhibition, but will require recommissioning. - the price requested reflects this.

This is a superb opportunity to own a Delorean Motor Car especially in this livery.

The car has certainly earned it’s keep over the last few years and we are sure that the new owner will enjoy the attention and possible earnings from the car.

We would be more than happy to assist with the shipping of this car anywhere in the World and can supply the name of a local transport company that would deliver to the nearest docks at the new owners expense.

If you require any further information do contact manddlegal at aol dot com and we will try to assist.

The car has import documents however is not UK registered.

The car is sold as a ’film/exhibition prop’ and without warranty

"although it does resemble the film car it is slightly different and may have been a Back To The Future ride car"

I assume this is from the Cars and Stars museum in Keswick (EDIT: MAYBE IT ISN'T?)

I don't think that is from the cars and stars in keswick.........be interesting to find out though..

I like the inside of a hard disk was used..........I wonder what makes people think adding parts that don't even look like the film set would make it look identical.....
Not that i like that particular look anyway but you might as well string some cheapy blue led Christmas lights over it and say it was a conversion.......

Oh well could be a tidy project to convert back to a normal looking car as originally designed by Guigaro...

Yep - I just realised that - it isn't the Keswick one - or either of them I mean. So I have no idea where it's from - possibly "new" as far as the UK is concerned. The numberplate surround says "Code One TV&Movie Cars" (New Jersey) so that could be a clue. I don't think it was from a BTTF ride though.....!

(The location of "Cumbria" was what made me say Keswick at first)

Possibly the worst car I have seen to date

Found some reference to it: http://www.hillvalley.de/sites/news.php - 4th item down, although that was 2005, and in a museum in Germany

And on DMC Talk there is a lot about code one.....

A whole website dedicated to the alleged scam artist that built it! http://www.shavedbysher.com/

Yeah - is that grille a house radiator top sprayed black?! :?

It would be interesting to know where in Dermot's list this car features, if at all. The same seller has two other cars on Ebay:

Herbie: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0486900323

and a Bond car: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0486891928

Interestingly the picture used IS the same picture as used in the "Cars Of The Stars" musuem on their website..... http://www.thebondmuseum.com/pages/15th ... lights.htm - maybe there is something in that "Cumbria" location after all..........

Basic problems with that:

Some idiot has already bid on it, pushing it well over it's value most likely

There is a reserve of *more than £5k*

The thing is worth probably £5k tops! Doesn't run. Missing some fairly essential parts, possible panel damage looking at one of the pictures, likely that the rest of the panels are damaged too, looks like the passenger door is broke in some way, interior?!?!, dodgy fake grille, louvres have been swapped!

Worth £1k for the gas flap hood, maybe another £1k for the driver's door. After that it's an insurance job!

Having said all that - yes to break it- if it WAS £5k, then maybe worth having.
