Yes they were, but this was before all the "new cars" PR. As soon as they moved to Texas they were doing "reconditioned cars" for $60k(ish). The frame would be from the donor car, and much of the rest would be "new". At the time there was an option to have either a rebuilt engine or a "new" crate engine - so would be worth checking the options selected by the current seller - also would be interesting to see how much he paid for it, not to mention the tax! :shock:
To me this seems like a very very good price indeed. Especially having seen first hand what the "Wheeler Dealer" car went for. But it is an auto I suppose.

Yep, if you don't mind the late style hood and the auto box then this looks like a bargain :D

That would nearly be considered a bargain at $29000 to re-import (or re-re-import) back to the US, for a reman car.
