PRV ENGINE AND GEARBOX

I spotted this on ebay today and thought it may be of some use to someone looking for a replacement engine and gearbox, not connected to me but hopefully may will do someone on the forum a good turn.

bit on the expensive side
i can do a total rebuild crank done new rings new big ends for half that

I bought a 1985 Volvo 760 engine with 48k for 1/4 of that amount from Braydon Motors summer before last. I'd say it's a bit overpriced too!

Breakers are obviously becoming more aware of the delorean link to this engine and are trying to milk it.

It started out at 250 and then the ad was rewritten to include the word Delorean and he bumped the price up to 1250 before settling in the more "reasonable" 750.

I think you are misreading it.
The first auction is just for the engine at 750 (talks about having it on a pallet)
The second one is for the engine (750) plus the rest of the car (valued at 500)
