Anyone interested in a car share around West Yorkshire? I'm genuinely interested in going halves and have cash waiting. I have always wanted one of these, it's such a special car and I'm certain I'm not the only one. I have a good friend who has worked on these before and maintains other mid engines sports cars. I also know Mr Coulombe well and was lucky enough to see one of these in Florida on vacation, I have never been so blown away by a car in my life and I've been to plenty of car shows.

Feel free to pm me in confidence if interested. You only live once!

Yes another member was talking about doing that a while back unless it was you. If I wasn't you maybe it could be a match made in heaven ;)

Unfortunately, it was me. I know there are some genuine enthusiasts out there that would love to do it, you only live once. It would be such an amazing feeling going to some events and having a blast with it on dry weekends.

I'm looking to put £15k into one, and that includes shipping to the UK. I have had some very helpful advice from chaps here (thanks if you're reading ) regarding importing these classics very cost effectively.

I'm good friends with Bruce so he will be able to be a bit flexible with regards to cost, in exchange for using a few replica parts here and there, but in the hidden locations such as behind the seats where a lot of the cost goes in these conversions. It will be a good running delorean with perhaps a few cosmetics and the usual stuff that these cars will of course have. Who knows, maybe an owner of stock delorean who would perhaps like to keep their car and convert that..? That could be viable option also! I would even consider helping to fund a time machine conversion, in exchange for the occasional hire of the vehicle to events that would of course be in writing, and a good old gentlemans handshake. There are numerous options that could work to suit both.

I could do the full £30k, but I'm wanting to be sensible about this and make sure that whoever decides to go into this with me has the assurance that we both have plenty of space cash each month just in case. I would be more than happy to answer lists of questions and share my personal information such as salary, assets etc.

I'm an extremely genuine, diehard BTTF fan, and I'm confident that I'm not alone in wanting to share this dream. This truly is a life goal for me, and I believe that now is the time to do it, and be able to enjoy the special times with the car before they unfortunately get too old. I'll be attending the Silverstone classic car show this weekend and would be more than happy to discuss details there, or around Leeds where I am based.
