Well the car is worth whatever the market is prepared to pay for it - and I don't think any of us will be upset if it ends up being £30k+!

I agree Darren, although I don't believe it has had 15k spent on it.
The prices have definitely risen this year and I think this is set to rise again next year with 30yr BTTF etc.

BHCC cars are usually in the $11-14k range, plus shipping taxes etc.

I can't imagine the seller claiming he paid CH 15k if he didn't, with this being such a small community.

I can't see it either, but stranger things have happened and you can easily haemorrhage money on a classic car if you pay someone else for every bit of work if you have no mechanical ability or inclination.

It also says "ex museum piece". We don't necessarily know that the last owner in the USA was BHCC, it could perhaps have been sold within the USA first? Surely a private museum can't turn out a cosmetically bad example too can it?
My Googling has failed on finding an ex-private-museum car for sale near Texas that matches (found one that isn't the same car (Pate Collection))

As I understand it the seller is a second hand car salesman........ ;) One careful lady owner

I tell ya! It seems better to sell a medium condition Delorean at the standard U.S. Rates 20-30k than actually have a very good one and hope to get your money back.

So far I have had people fly in from all over Europe to hear that they actually don't want or can't spend that much....
But hey, visiting Greece is always fun! Whohooo
