On the contrary. Gives me a feeling of confidence.

Imagine selling a car, delivering it to the door step and then expect to get paid....
If you think your car is not all it is expected to be, you might end up a door to door salesman

Who's to say he's not going to ask for payment up front before delivery, or at least a very hefty deposit? I think I'd want some more work history on the car and a few pictures of the oily/epoxied bits before handing over £30k!

I think that full payment would be required before shipment - it wouldn't be shipped "on approval" as the old Britanica Music Club would say about their LPs (that dates me ).

It hasn't been registered, so it would make it easier to get it to your "manor", be that on "the mainland" or "down south".

One of the DOI guys (Thomas or Paul, I think) worked on his other car

I would not know anybody so light headed to pay up a full deposit of a car before a serious check up.

I too spotted this car as I will be looking for a DeLorean in a couple of months when my garage is built and finished. I am a newbie to the forum and this is my first post. When I checked Pistonheads this morning, the NI add has been removed, so methinks suspicious circumstances perhaps?
