This car was repaired by a club member Alex Canini... who has explained to me today that the chassis and underneath was not damaged at all.

All the fibreglassing was repaired using whatever fibreglass parts where still present , (like a jigsaw) then rubbed down 2mm all the way round and relaid, top and bottom, the car was raised by 4 inches to carry it out... windscreen, doors, dashboard all removed to repair it.

Car has recently had head gaskets, skimmed heads...new seals, o-rings on rebuild and a full service.

New fuel pump, and front lines.

New starter motor

The crashed fenders and hood are also available to view to get an idea on the damage.

I am hoping to get some pictures asap for any interested buyers.

The car is at Alex workshop, anyone interested should call him on

I am told a decent offer could secure the car

Didn't meet reserve at £21,500 (would have been £24080 with buyers' premium)

Or maybe sold....? http://www.historics.co.uk/buying/aucti ... mc-12.aspx - apparently for 25200 (which is £22500 hammer plus buyers premium) - so looks like someone got in after the sale and bought it after all.
