Offered for sale at £32,000 (open to reasonable offers) is our beautiful 1981 DeLorean DMC-12. The car is an October 1981 build, with grey interior, manual transmission, and with the much sought after grooved bonnet.

Imported from California to the UK in September 2014, the car was restored over a period of 7 months and is in stunning condition inside and out, as can be seen from the pictures. It passed it's first UK MOT in May 2015 and has just been registered with the DVLA. The stainless bodywork has been re-brushed to showroom standard by leading DeLorean marque specialist, Chris Nicholson.

Being from a dry state, the chassis is in excellent, rust free condition. The engine starts on the button, has ample power output thanks to the unnecessary catalytic converter being removed, and the refurbished brakes perform well. The doors open and close smoothly, and will open to full extension without manual assistance.

Yep, I'd echo what everyone else has said here. It looks like a cracking car and you must have worked really hard to get it into that condition. I'm very confident you'll have a lot of interest in it.

Nice shot of this car spotted pulling into a classic car meet yesterday.

The car was the 2015 Brooklands Trust Members Classic Car Show 'Best in Show' winner for the modern classics category.

Price now reduced to £32,000....reasonable offers also considered.
