A recent (2013) import - the executor of an estate is looking to sell this car. It was on a vanity plate (999 RAY) which came off. Located in N21, London. I can pass on the contact details to any serious interested buyers - just ask.

Mileage c.30,000
VIN: 1469
Manual
Black Interior
Gas Flap Hood
Highly desirable "early" car ;)
Garaged

Apparently imported via Texas but was previously in Sarasota, Florida - ex-owner is on Facebook - Alistair has been in contact with him and has details of the work done over there. It has had power steering fitted, runs and is in "good condition". Alistair is going to have a look this week and will report back with photos and details etc.

Listed along with all others here: DeLoreans For Sale in the UK

The car is being sold by the widow, sadly the owner had a heart attack and passed away very unexpectedly,

Car is for sale, sensible offers around £29k will secure it, needs a couple of minor issues sorting or looking at such as drivers window not working etc, and a set of struts, binnacle has some bubbling.

Sorted this car would be in the £35k range

I have only seen it in a darkened garage but it is now outside and some more pictures have been sent to me.

Has a fresh MOT with no advisories,

Chassis is in brilliant condition, the history file is huge and it's had a small fortune spent on the car in the UK (almost £10k), recent injectors replacement, cap leads etc for £1500.00 in March.

It's one of those cars where there isn't many more parts you could replace!

File includes clutch, top brand tyres, brakes, power steering kit, full rebrush and regrain, new entire fuel system etc.
Interior in vgc, the binnacle has been recovered at some stage in the past.

If interested pm me or call, or call the sellers father Alan on 07801053523

Yes - it is. A sale was agreed just over a month ago I believe*, but the buyer pulled out and bought a TVR instead :)

*(I'm basing this on the fact there was a post on here from someone saying it had been sold - but that has now been deleted..)

That is super cheap for that car given it's condition, if I was the seller I wouldn't drop a penny below £25k!

Given that it has 30K miles, and there are plenty of sub 10K mile ones, why is it a bargain? I'm a newbie ;)
If you carry some spares and treat them like a princess, are they okay for long journeys? Say to Spain and back?

30,000 miles is not a lot though is it? A sub 10,000 mile 35 year old car has only averaged 285 miles a year, or - more likely - it's been sat and left to rot.

Plenty?? - where??

In the UK - http://www.deloreanclub.uk/deloreans-for-sale.html - I can only see one, and it is £5k more and an auto. This particular one is a bargain because it's had lots of money thrown at it, and is is great condition - cars like this can get £35k in the spring/summer.

Long journeys - not a problem at all - I've been to Germany and back with no issues, and many of us have done Norfolk to Belfast and back with no problems.
