UPDATE: NOW http://www.angliacarauctions.co.uk/en/c ... c-12-auto/

SVR 565W
VIN 5009
Grey Auto

Here we have my 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 , This was imported by me at the end of last year ( 2014 ) from a collector in the U.S.A. who had had it in his personal museum for a number of years.
The car is L.H.D. ( obviously ) and is AUTOMATIC.

The car has only covered 16,000 miles from new and after spending time being unused, arrived with me needing some re-commissioning and overhaul.
The car has had many new parts including high voltage alternator ( so no more charging problems ), door struts, lower height front springs, front brake calipers, fuel accumulator, speedo angle drive, switches, DAB Radio, Stainless steel water tank, rear tyres, full service including fluids and belts and much more.
Now fully U.K. registered and M.O.T'd, I have been using and improving the car since getting it MOT'd in March 2015.
Considering its almost 35 years old the car is in excellent condition both inside and out, top and bottom, one or two minor marks to the stainless body are really its only faults.
The car now runs and drives as it should, and is a pleasure to drive, a word of warning, don't even consider buying a DeLorean unless you can handle the attention it gets !
The car is ' as original ' and has never been painted, it does have a small flux capacitor fitted so time travel is possible should you wish to ! .

Only offered for sale because of personal reasons, I am not interested in any PX whatsoever... Sorry.

Viewing is of course possible and can be arranged, the car is located just North of Nottingham.

Please call on 07970 549079.

Looks a little high if it has indeed been lowered as claimed?

Other things from the pics, missing coil cover, looks like rear headlining coming away on corner of passenger door. And what's with the centre console? Bit of a hack job on the stereo installation, where are the centre vents?

That's why it's only £26,500 lol - that and it's an auto ;)

High - yes lol - it looks higher than stock?! Pretty sure the springs didn't come from us :)

Stereo - has it been done like that to be reversible I wonder? Could be a very clever mod if so....?

Coil covers are an optional extra it seems in many cases...

I drove around for 5 years without one on mine. And it's not like it's a difficult/expensive job to fit :D

Sitting on very un-even ground may be a factor here, or picture was before the springs were done???

Doesn't look that uneven to my eye. And when posting a car for sale, why would anyone use old pictures, unless of course, they are trying to hide something....

Seller confirmed that the pictures are from before the springs were fitted, which he sourced from DMC Europe
