Never did work out what the VIN on this one was.

1981 Delorean as owned by Eddie Irvine and featured on televised documentaries.

This is a very original example of the Delorean with only 1637 miles registered. This is not verified but based on the originality of the vehicle is believed to be accurate.

This car features the original door pull strap integrated into the door as opposed to the looped around pull handle version. The seats are in excellent condition and interior is Grey with a rare black centre console combination with an early style ash/coin tray.

Vehicle is an Automatic with original Craig Radio still fitted. Binnacle is in very good condition with no cracks. Front and rear fascias are in excellent condition with no eyebrowing of the front fascia as is extremely common..

The frame appears to be in very good condition also and has been dry stored for the last several years of Eddies Ownership with the vehicle being started on a regular basis for maintenance purposes.

This is a unique opportunity to own a very original piece of motoring history.

The vin question has just been answered Dermot - I helped fit new door struts to this car in September this year and got a couple of snaps.

Interesting that my Cars VIN is close to this one and the month is the same but mine has the extra Radio interference plate

He couldn't of liked driving it that much as its only got "1600" miles on it

What do all these people have in common???
They are all ex-Delorean owners that had manual gearboxes. They all suffered from Tennis knee from a poorly positioned hydraulic clutch pedal, which lead to orthopedic issues and finally impotence!!!
Beware manual owners!!!!
So the manual transmission is marginally faster than an auto, is all this grieve worth 0.3 second 0 to 60???

Sale agreed. After a long time lurking around this forum, I have finally taken the plunge into DeLorean ownership.

Many thanks to the club guys who assisted me.

Anyone know the best way to get a DeLorean from Belfast to North London? It does start and drive but is not roadworthy.

The car driven by Eddie Irvine around the track at the factory in "Car Crash" was VIN 3915.
I don't believe that his car has actually featured in any television documentaries...
