Delorean wanted, swop ?

I am new to this forum and have never owned a Delorean, but I would like to.
I have been a long time Lotus owner and have always yearned to own a Delorean. I have owned several early Esprit's and elans and now feel the time has come to take the plunge into ownership. At present I own a beautiful Elan S4 SE FHC. I would have to sell the Elan first to fund the purchase of a new car, or the better option would be to find someone with a Delorean who would like a swop with the elan ? Thought I would put it out there, it's worth asking before I go through the advertising route. Any questions let me know, thanks Chris

Nice looking Lotus. Where are you from Chris? Should you end up selling and then buying what kind of quality of car would you be looking for? Project? Import? Or something ready to roll?
