Nope!

2 Doors, Manual, Coupe, Petrol, Silver, 1 Owner. American import in April 1990. Done less than 1000 miles and has been stored since. This car does need an MOT and TAX. You are buying as a part finished project. It has just had Approx three thousand pounds spent on the car. Needs for MOT inlet manifold gasket replacing as it is blowing. Passenger side electric window glass is broken and needs replacement. More detailed descroption will follow., £12,995

Vehicle Details:
Year: 1981
Fuel Type: Petrol
Transmission: Manual
Body Type: Coupe
Colour: SILVER
Mileage: 1000 miles
Price: £12,995

I think it means done 1000 miles since 1990.

Edit: Alarms have gone off. Early door locks, grey wheels, small sticker on air box, early taillights, early carpets, driver's seat back has fallen off. This is a 1xxx early vin, but has the wrong bonnet, wrong exhaust tips. Also still has US headlights.

Just to give you my point of view, the coolant bottle can't give you any clue. Since the coolant is not supposed to go more than 1/3 or 1/2 the tank you cannot see any degradation from above, theoretically speaking. Next to that, the plastic will degrade on the outside, not on the inside where theres only fluids and stale air.

What struck me as odd was '1st owner'. How can it be a first owner if it was imported in 1990? At least one american and one uk resident should be counted as owner.

Other than that, the car 'looks' clean, but we all know that the exterior of the car is in no way a good indication. Engine trouble, electical problems, broken side windows (why on earth did that break? Car theft?), just to name a few.

If it wasn't 13.000 pounds it would at least be a good donor car.

Bottom line - I have one already, I have no place for another one, and finally - I know all the quirks from #3695, I guess I'll stick with that one.
