Having a very maintenance-hungry aircraft has forced me to put 16583 up for sale.
It has an incredible 4,700kms on the odometer, beautiful bodywork and running perfectly - MOT to June 2020 with no advisories.
I bought it in September 2014 from Sweden where it resided from at least 1990. It is allegedly one of the Saudi cars, but I cannot substantiate this. Work that I’ve done:-
• Bring to UK standard (headlights, rewire for rear fog lights – with new circuit boards)
• Interior refurb (new binnacle – all lights now LED, headlining and seats)
• All brake callipers replaced
• New front springs to return the ride height back to normal
• New shocks all round
• Oil change annually with filters (and air filter)
I do have one maintenance job outstanding to do – since a trip to the NEC in September the passenger window does not move up or down, motor runs so I suspect its a runner and will see if I have the time to do this - but this does not detract from its value.
Its housed in a purpose built garage near Chichester so rarely sees anything but blue sky!

Please don't buy it, then I'll have to sell a kidney instead....

According to the now defunct Swedish DeLorean Society, this car was imported to Sweden from Saudi

Thanks Alistair. The info I had was just a verbal history from the Swedish owner so pleased it appears correct.

Now sold. Sad day, but going to a good home.
