Good luck with finding your car. I was very lucky the other week to get one for sale in London. My advice is - they don't hang around for very long - so take a deposit with you when viewing a car and buy yourself a copy of the Essential Buyers Guide - worth every penny.

hey all, looks like i'm back to looking, if anyone has a tip I'm wide open and ready with the cash! currently been chatting some people who work with BHCC and ship cars, some of the stuff they get seems janky but some are alright, might just have to bite the bullet on importing as I know many of you have.

With bhcc cars, just make sure the chassis is good and it states mechanically sound on the listing. Mechanically sound to them means the engine isnt seized and not that it runs. It doesnt usually take much to get these cars running.

I guess it all depends how much of a project you want and what your budget is.
