After 8 years and a shed load of work on the car I've decided we need to part ways.
VIN6042, grey automatic, November 81, 40k indicated miles (odometer has always worked since I've had it)
Work done includes:
Refurbished fuel injection (all rebuilt by Ken Mills)
New stainless radiator
Fog light mod
Fan over-ride switch
Rebuilt callipers
Stainless exhaust
Front frame recall
New water pump
New window regulator
New mirrors
DMCH fuel pump kit
Roof box job done (interior trim piece not put back)
Recent wheel alignment
Door cards rejuvenated
Last MOT nil advisories
Bad bits: A small ding in the T-panel, couple of little dings on the bonnet, central locking module is unplugged having done the roof box job (may need lock and latch procedure again but I have had it working well in the past), I've never looked at the air con and drive belt is not connected to compressor. I never got round to reinstalling the rear roof trim after the roof box job. CD player/radio doesn't work but, again, I've had it going in the past.
It starts on the button hot or cold, idles perfectly, sounds awesome, goes and stops in a straight line, and is used several times a week.
