Blimey, there's a blast from the past - Alan Fenemer. I sourced him that gearshifter and have a niggling feeling he never paid for it...

No offence to the guy who is selling it. but £15500 seems a bit high for one that needs that much work and also the interior needs a refurb. i would guess it needs £4k spending on it to bring it upto £18k quality so i would only pay £14k for it. The stainless looks spot one, really nice. but i would remove them black stripes and the delorean badges from the side panels.

Perhaps offer him £14K ? ... you never know he might take it :)

Seems like a solid enough car from the pictures, however a few of the underside, as ever, wouldn't go a miss .

I will see how it gets on with the bids. his reserve maybe set high like £15k or something daft. if it dont sell then i will email him before he relists it and make him an offer. if i got it i would strip the interior out and replace with good stuff or new and i would also take the engine out to completely recondition it. god know what the chassis is like, and if its been stood for along time then the fuel system, tyres and brakes are proberly shot.

I've got a car in Canada that I bought but no longer want (the seller let me down on shipping) and he's being crap about paying me back, so if I find him a buyer.... the trouble is the shipping is coming in at over $3k and it needs a TON of work. It's complete but very tatty.

We've done the deal, its just a matter of getting the car up to him and the TA to me...
