Hello

Does anyone have a fuel tank enclosure plate, i could borrow/buy off them? I need to take measurements off it to create a template, or indeed use the actual plate as a template to have one made up in stainless.

Ed does stainless ones for about 300EUR, but then it's 300EUR.

thanks very much
Dave.

Hi Dave

Have you asked Chris N?

Matt Nickels has his off the car, maybe he could take some measurements?

Or..

You might be able to recoup your costs if you got one and got it copied.

I have half of the original plate that came off of my car, except its doesn't have the two corners to it (rusted :( )

I'll ask the Matt what he thinks

Great link Domi!

Some nice stuff there, also a little ironic that the word 'inox' appears in the sellers description of the plate!

Plaque de protection réservoir inox épaisseur 2 mm : 120 Euros

Dave if you go for that option, it may be possible for us to bring one back from Silvercoast in France in May, not sure how soon you need it though.

not ironic, mate :) Inox is the international symbol for Stainless Steel.

If you've got a penknife it'll probably say somewhere on it 'victorinox'

I'm going to have a stainless company here in the UK make one up and see what's what.

yet again, thanks for your help everyone.

Dave.
