Hi all,

I am after a door strut for my drivers side that has gone a little bit limp (won't open the last couple of inches without a little lift)

My passenger side seems to be ok (although bounced a tiny amount at the end)

Wondering if someone has a good one going spare if they replaced a pair as a matter of course. It will save me being tight and trying to swap the struts over......

*Item is untested, old and probably knackered, but you never know. I'm sure I kept it for a reason!

Always worth a go Arran ! At least we could rule it out if it's duff....

Arran, please never forget that one of the two ends on your driver's side has been shortened and must be swapped as and when you replace the driver's side strut.

You have a good memory Martin! But no - this spare one pre-dates the "modification" on my balls (at least I think it does), so should fit a standard D.
