Engine wanted

I live in Norway and bought my Delorean from the US three years back. But when they shipped it, the temperature in Norway was -10 degrees. And the car, from Georgia, had no anti-freeze fluid in it. So the engine has gotten worse and worse and now it has no compression on three of the sylinders. Both on top, in the middle and the bottom of the sylinders. So I guess the engine block is raptured.
So I'm looking for a new engine. Have been looking for an old Volvo in Norway and Sweden, but with no luck. But I'm still looking.
So if anyone knows of an engine somewhere, please let me know.
(and excuse any mistakes in technical explainations, I barely know the Norwegian terms)

Hi Carl,
I'm sure you'll find help on here, have you spoken with Ed Uding at DeLorean Europe
www.delorean.eu he may have access to second hand engines too.

Why not take your engine out and take it apart to see what the actual problem is. It could be something simple like a slipped timing chain on one bank, blown cylinder head gasket etc.
You can get spate gaskets as a full kit.
Even if the pistons and bore are damaged, they can be replaced. Someone in here has spats to build an engine. It is usually the main block that corrodes. If this is ok then you can just do a rebuild. .

If you do finish up putting in a different engine, don't throw anything away, someone will want the parts

I'm not very good with engines, so a total rebuild will be difficult. An engine swap would be possible... hopefully. I guess I have to check the french site.
And I'll never throw anything away. Will probably need the spare parts for myself in the future...
