I didn't buy it because it needs a good cleanup and a new powdercoat, bring it up to the cost of a brand new one. You might want to use it as a template to make better and cheaper copies for us to enjoy!

Yeah tatty doesn't matter I just want to have a rough pattern to go by I'll probably flog it afterwards.

I'd like to make a cheaper one but my priority is really to make a better design out of brushed ss which I think would look pretty sharp sitting on top of the louvre.

If i may be so forward as to vent my personal opinion, i'd say it will look better in black on top of the black louvres. But that is my own view on the matter. If you could come up with a slightly less expensive replica you can consider me a customer!

At least if they're made of stainless and then painted black, if the paint chips it won't rust :D

Ed's on holiday at the moment - and doesn't tend to answer emails when he's away

Any idea when he's due back? Can't finish my suspension work until the parts I ordered from him arrive, and I'm slowly running out of free weekends to work on the car :|

No idea - I can just see on Facebook that he is/was away in Germany. Out of interest, what parts did you order? We'll look at stocking them on our next delivery in June. Won't help you, but may help others.
