AC compressor

Hi
I'm after an AC compressor clutch coil or a non working compressor with a good coil

Hi Dan, have you checked of the coil engages by disconnecting the clutch feed wire at the connector near the top of the compressor and applying 12v direct to the coil?

The clutch not engaging could be electrical and the fault be elsewhere.

Hi
It's defo the coil, it's burnt out I checked the resistance
I currently have the coil off Barry and mikes project car on mine and it works fine
I just need to replace there's

I ended up stripping and rewinding my old clutch coil to replace the one I "borrowed " from dbros1+2

D'oh. I completely forgot! I thought you had coil winders for the big big motors..

I'm thinking of a production run of central locking solenoids ;)
