Hy to all,

i´m new here and i live in vienna (austria) i own my dmc since nearly 5 years. since i own it its an never ending project car. now i´m looking for an used rear glass and driver side torsion bar (for the door). i hope you can help me. would also take new parts for an good price

Dear Ivko, thank you for your post, unfortunately the only person in the club that has Torsion bars available is a unique chap called Rissy , which you can message him through the club, Otherwise you will have to use the resources of DMC Houston or Europe. I hope this helps.

"Rissy" only has passenger torsion bars, not driver's side.

Also just to add a comment, I think the ones Houston sell are made by a third party and have had issues with the paint cracking which results in minor rusting, discussed on dmctalk

what do you think about them? because they look diffrent to the stock springs.

do you also have some tips for the rear glass? i would also take an used one.

That's Byrne Heninger's website. I believe he has retired?

It's your money and your choice but to be honest if you are shelling out for a torsion bar, I would pay the extra $281 and get the DMOCO torsion bar. The Heninger bar looks very mickey mouse.

For what it's worth, a friend of mine has the dmoco bar in his car, he has been running it for he last 5 years with no issues.
