Yep they have made it as far as "goods inwards" here! Now have them in both "all stainless" and galvanised steel.

As for the front stainless spire nuts/clips - aren't they interchangeable with these? (all stainless) http://www.deloreanclub.uk/spire-retain ... nless.html

I'll be adding these to my purchase list soon, but any suggestions on the best adhesive to hold them on?

I intend to use tiger seal on the front lower bumper. Making sure I've dug out all the rust and dirt and crud. Shouldn't move anywhere once they're on.

I've just used fibreglass to secure the two in the cabin for the centre console.

cheers spud. saw that post on another thread  ;)

Also if anyone is interested in taking their front end apart, when you remove the grill, the caged nuts along the top are these:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cage-Nuts-Cage-Rack-Nut-201-304-Stainless-Carbon-Steel-M4-M5-M6-M8-/322378621227?var=511332226971&hash=item4b0f43612b:m:mRvOXdE_sB_buAugOCuPFSA

albeit, from Chinesia. £1.53, if you're willing to wait a month.

Having been under the car recently, I can now see where you're coming from with these fittings, Arran just threw me when he mentioned caged nuts .
However the stainless clips do the job just fine on the (very) top mountings which are unsuitable for caged nuts.

Out of interest, what will you use to bond those fasteners?
(hope it's as good as the stuff used by a previous owner on my front "bumper" - quite clearly it had suffered from a small split and been repaired - hasn't budged).
Anyways, wot with being in the process of stripping down and refurbing my D, I'm always on the lookout for good quality fasteners and "best practices".

The eight on the lower bumper four on each side? Tiger seal. Pics to follow Friday?. Doubt they'll budge the stuff would stick to your duvet.
