Lol its just a nut. I suck at the rest - like appropriately tightening the bolt in the first place just to name one.

Do you have a nut on the back of all 4 anti-roll bar mount bolts now? And only dropped one doing them..?

That's right Dan!

How did I do it? Turn in the bolt until it barely surfaces on the inside, then gently hold the nut between two fingers and shimmy it in place. Then while guiding the nut with one finger gently tighten the bolt a bit until it had a good grip on the nut. Now get a ratchet spanner #17 and slide it in from the tie rod side. This is the only way because from the front side there is no room because of the radiator. From there can guide the spanner with your fingers in the front to firmly grip the nut. Now tighten the bolt with the socket set. The spanner should keep the nut from spinning. To tighten the bolt, use the ratchet spanner to tighten it in the top side. There's very little room but my spanners have a very small reset angle (about 7 degrees to a click). The front is much easier. I used a flexi socket set to tighten those. Remember to remove the inside spanner before reassembly of the radiator brackets lol!

Fiddly indeed.

Last Sunday I went with the Dutch Delorean Club (DCN) to the American Sunday Event. We came with 5 DeLoreans and had one of the best spots of the event. It was a very good trip and an even better day - sun was burning and i actually wanted the airco to work (no it didn't).

On arrival at the meeting point, my D dumped quite a bit of coolant fuel out of the overflow hose of the coolant bottle. Welmoed was there too any he checked that didn't have a leak in the system and that calmed me down again. No overheat fortunately, probably the spring in the cap is not tight enough. It didn't happen again, but i'm still not sure what actually happened. Fact is that fans never came on but the engine kept its temperature the entire drive. When I finally put the car back in the safety of the garage and turned the engine off, i did hear a slight hiss from the coolant bottle but no fluid came out this time. Level was still fine.

Anybody want to help me find out what happened?

It doesn't sound like a cap leak to me - but would only happen at higher pressures perhaps?

I am not sure the new Volvo plastic caps go on these OEM bottles. But if the water is coming out of the hose... Hmm - don't know. Anyway - here is your engine bay for the benefit of others:

@Arran: Thanks for the picture

That may help to kick in the fans. What I don't understand is that the engine didn't overheat at all. The temperature was stable at the first notch below horizontal (on a standard dial). When waiting for traphic lights it would be a mill above and when driving it was a mill below the mark.
