Manxmann wrote:Just a quick hello,

I've been lurking on the forum for a little while and decided I'd get round to saying hello properly.

I've decided that as my 40th Birthday is approaching far too rapidly thats its time to treat myself and buy that 'D' I've been hankering after for what seems like forever!

Fingers crossed if all goes well 17152, which is currently being fettled by the expert hands of Martin from delorean.co.uk will be mine towards the end of March.

She'll then be making a trip over the wet bit to take up residence on the Isle of Man for I'm sure many a happy lap of the TT circuit.

Once Martins done and I have my grubby little hands on her I'll post some pics in her new home :D

Sorry didn't get too many pictures but here's my 'D' during her 1st outing. The event was organised to celebrate some Porche owner anniversary and the UK Owners club were on the Island.

I'm glad to say the 'D' got more attention than the porkers

1st outing for the Manx 'D' to say she attracted some interest would be an understatement!

Welcome aboard Manxmann! Here's to many good times with your stainless steel beauty! :D

Nice car you have there and I'm sure I recognise that reg! Canadian spec if I'm not mistaken? ! It used to belong to Graham Wells who lives right here in Norfolk, about 15 miles away from me to be precise! In fact, I think it was the first car that I was ever taken for a spin in!

I have some pics/video of it somewhere, I'll see if I can dig them up and post on here for you! ;)

All the best

Hello all members of the Delorean Eurotec Forum!

Just popping in to say Hi, I'm a newly registered member, but have been on the Delorean.ie site since around 2006. I'm living in County Wexford, Ireland.

In January this year, my dream came through and I bought an '83 Delorean from Stuart Rees.

Haven't regretted a minute of Delorean ownership, and hope to meet you all next year in Belfast!
