James Espey is reporting that Pilot 9 has been found in the states. UK plate OPW 651W

Wow...from the docs it looks like its taken a few flights in its time.

It'll be good to see the history of this car.

Supposedly for a fifth wheel for testing purposes

Yes - but how/why/which way round etc? Or was it a spare rear wheel, attached to the back Land Rover style?! :lol:

Yep nice Norfolk registration there!

Lotus had a James Bond Esprit film car registered OPW 654W.

James is going to get the full vin, and he has tasked me with trying the DVLA.

Okies ..yes ive just read that now .. I too am a little unsure what that would entail :)

Perhaps all that power caused the front end of the car to lift up on acceleration ?? :)

Is that a full size spare under the trunk ?? :)
