Other than the remarkably undamaged tail light and the vin plate, WTF is good about it?! :?

Chassis apparently. But anybody really want to buy this and strip it down rather than send theirs off for a dip and squirt?!

Whomever bought Aaron May's car could buy it for the door - looks to be in good shape.

Indeed it does, and I assume either him or Martin would be a likely candidate to be the winning bidder on this.

I'd be surprised if there isn't a new door already on Aaron May's old car by now.

Martin knows the guy I think, but its still a question of storing something...of course the way to do it is too have a 'spare' galv chassis ready for anyone needing it.

Not sure what else can be salvaged apart from panels/doors maybe gearbox...also if someone has a cracked front tub like Aaron May car then they could graft on the front fron this car which looks ok...but all work.

Interesting to see what it makes

Be surprised if it goes for more than £2k

There's loads of salvagable parts on that car, A little bit of filler and TLC, Bob's your uncle and fanny's your aunt, and then sell it to Aaron May, Job Done!!!

A full set of wheels, 2 doors with glass and a rear n/s qtr panel, torsion bars etc... have to be worth somthing? no reason to think that the wouldn't be many other parts worth having.

I'd be interested in sharing the money and parting it out over time if somone wants to go 50/50, I'm pretty sure I can store it without too much hassel.

If somone on this site is already on the case let me know (pm or otherwise) I wouldn't want to bid up a fellow member for somthing that would ultimatly be to help the UK DMC community.

Could the car realistically be saved? I hate to see car's being parted out.

I think the absence of the front left fender, and the probable requirement for a new underbody, means that you need, .... erm ...., a parts car to make this one good again. If you can get the missing panels, and I know Dave Howarth HAD a spare underbody, then game on. Really this should have been the car the Will.i.am "pimped".
I suppose that is the other alternative - given that the chassis is good - phone us Westwood and get this thing turned into a new pussy wagon of some kind!

Looking at the questions on Ebay there does seem to be a least some interest in saving the car.
