She's at the paint shop now. Just took some of the glass out ready to make a start. BTW a big thanks to a certain Mr Vanstone, for the collection of the new tinted glass, which I purchased off the evilbay, but which was about from here to France for me to collect! Cheers Al.

Yeh, it's a good 'en Darren. It's never seen a welding rod, rock solid. There is literally just a couple of small blebs on the door bottoms, which are obviously gettin sorted.

I remember welding many a Mk11 in the late 80's, Front Strut tops, wings, rear arches, spring hangers, sills and valances. It's really AMAZING to see your car in such good original nick, 20 years plus since I welded up many a basket case.

I'd owned it for a number of years before some thieving, dirty, stinking low life scumbag, decided to take a fancy to it. Six weeks later it was found & to 'cut a long story', I bought it back off the insurance.

It's when I read stories like this I yearn for the real life development of this product...
