Hows the engine coming along Tony? Would love to see some pics if you have some?

Have a few pictures of the chassis being stripped yesterday and then it has been finished today but only one pic from today.
Trying to find a company round here that can deal with either blasting or acid dipping such a long chassis as the few i've contacted so far can't.

Google 'surface processing' for stripping the chassis.

Blasting will be no good unless you want to cut bits out of the chassis to get at the insides.

im on it :) heads being skimmed at the mo, and 30k liners and pistons going in with new chains and tensioners, and new oil pump TT

Theres a place in Nottingham that can do it but baking it off in an oven, Julian had his done there and they did a good job.

Surface processing will do it, but every time I've enquired, their prices are a joke. Pro strip did mine, as Dan said. They are on Little Tennis St in Colwick, Notts, they did a really quick great job at dead right money.
