Lol, I was expecting a worst case scenario video. It was quite amusing!

How's your time machine coming along Mike? It would be cool to have a quick blast over to check it out if you're still alright about it?

Ok, let me throw another idea out there (and I'll need swift responses for this to work to get that car!):

I'm looking at having kids in the next 2 years. I clearly will be skint for life at this point as will need a larger house, and ALL the usual bits you need for children. I was thinking, perhaps I should take a large loan and get the car myself and enjoy it for a few years, then look at selling the car to an enthusiast here in the UK. Would it get snapped up? I can't imagine it hanging around, but if I have a lot of interest or perhaps someone who would almost guarantee that they would save and take over the car in a year or two whenever I decide to settle down, I may just go ahead!!

Thoughts?

ok my thoughts dont have kids! you will get more enjoyment out of a delorean than a kid and if the delorean dont do what you want it to do then you can shout and screem at it and beat it with a lump of wood..... can't do that with a kid...
hope this helps Tyson

I too would imagine it getting snapped up, especially if it wasn't much more than a standard delorean. I'm hovering over the ad now. :? Still nobody interested in this..?

I would say that BTTF cars that are done 'accuratley' cost at least twice that of a 'standard' D. The biggest part is of corse the price you paid for the stock car in the first place

In internal electronics alone you are looking at circa £7k

So Bruce's cost of circa £40k ? ( Reserve not met ) is 'right' for the work he puts into them but in my book worth a lot more.

But then there is the question of shipping and taxes etc to pay
