Well, look what happens when I build a PC;

That silent overclocked 8-GPU dual CPU dual PSU system was supposed to be several kinds of impossible and was
a massive headache to build and integrate, but it came out well in the end. I guess I am just a techno-masochist. :)

3.Seeing as you haven't driven one yet you are more than welcome to come out in mine .. Even with a 'ton O shit' on it it is quick and completely stock too ..

Thanks, will try to get to a club event, I'm just very busy with work at the moment.

4. Please listen to what people say on here .. They all know what they are talking about :)

You say that as if everyone always agreed with eah other. :)

Currently just one (not counting the little touch screen monitor on the front) although it could theoretically drive 24. I have built several machines similar to this as OpenCL workstations, meaning that the graphics chips are actually used as co-processors to accelerate various computational tasks. The normal compute grid rack servers used for this have eight seperate GPGPU cards, but those things are incredibly noisy. The purpose of this machine is to replicate the production server spec in a silent package that will fit on (but not under :) ) a developer's desk. In fact the liquid cooling and overclocking allow this specific machine to replicate next year's production server spec, which is what makes it so desirable. No existing watercooling parts are available for these dual-Tahiti cards so I had to make them myself; in fact the cards themselves weren't on the market when I built the machine, had to source them direct from the factory. It also has quad soild state drives, triple 4 TB hard drives, 128 GB DDR3-1600 (hard to find for server-grade memory; had to ship it from the US), dual 10-gigabit ethernet etc.

Well one of those qualities will certainly get a workout with the D.

Nice PC, but wait to you see the cars hi-tech electronics. You'll be struck dumb with awe :)

That photo is from before the wiring went in. :)

Presumably that pic is from your time machine setup? What happened to that, I heard you pulled it all out again?

It's in the thread title (I know, not a standard one).

On the subject of non-standard deviations (as Bob Mosley put it), here are some sketches for possible time machine bits;
