If your serious buyers, can I ask someone to be an escrow?

If we all commit and pay someone trusted on the forum, they can make the payment on behalf of the club to A1 for the motors.

That way it's all above board.

Unless someone has any other method to get this paid?

I use transferwise.com for payment of international bills, really good exchange rate and less fees than a bank.

They bulk purchase currency and group payments together.

Create an account with transferwise, then you'll have to get all the money into the nominated account, i.e. your personal account.

You then tell them how much you want the recipient to receive eg $1000 they will do the transfer bulked with other UK businesses buying from the us and you'll get a good rate.

I've only ever used it for business but savings often amount to £££'s per transaction.
