Honourable project from a good guy I think. Perhaps ambitious tho... Would it be eligible for classic racing? Possibly, but with a road-tune Commando engine, its not exactly going to be ballistic...

I know, I know. Sadly true.

But I like the old British tat. You do have to WANT to own it tho, unlike either classic Jap stuff or modern retros (Bonnie, Duc, Guzzi etc) which is relatively easy to live with.

Funny isn't it, how the 70s/80s Jap bikes are now quite sought after and decidedly cool, but the same cannot really be said of their cars of the same era.

Thus we own Deloreans ?!?!?! WTF?!

Anyone here got Brit bikes??

My Son works for Triumph, not very British now though, half their stuff is built in India

Same goes for most makers I think now mate. It all goes to the lowest bidder. I think it's about as British as you can get now days.
