Postby savetheclocktower » Wed Jul 17, 2013 1:43 pm

Hi All,

Where is best to pick one of these up. Would like to upgrade on my plastic one. What sort of price am I looking at?

Thanks,
Rich

If you do upgrade and if your plastic one isnt too badly discoloured I would be interested in it.

I'm not entirely sure "upgrade" is the correct term - although agreed it does look better... You should be able to get a second hand one I would think on here from someone who wants a plastic one.

For a new one probably the only source is Ed: http://www.delorean.eu/catalog/product_ ... _id=168058
although for a time Chris N had a few, not sure if he still does, and good luck getting hold of him!: http://www.pjgrady.co.uk/

I have a new, unused stainless tank which you can have for 100 GBP posted. I bought it for my car before deciding to go with Legend-style intercoolers, which occupy the same space.

Agreed, as soon as I typed it I knew it wasnt the correct word lol.

My car came with a black stainless bottle and I hate not being able to see the coolant level without removing the lid.

Starting to think keeping the orginal is the best route now guys! Maybe the more standard the better. :?

Buy a standard Volvo one , fits in one of the original mountings and looks better .
And as azza says you can see how much coolant you have TT
