Adhesive GLOW IN THE DARK Arrows for your POWER WINDOW switc

Postby ALEXAKOS » Wed Jan 22, 2014 5:53 pm

In pursuit for easy solutions to common DeLorean problems I created this cheap way out to cover the faded arrows from he power window buttons:

Minimal assembly skills required. Trembling hands not proffered.
So I ordered a high quality adhesive glow in the dark vinyl. Laser cut to size to stick on the buttons. Amazingly I tried rubbing I off and it is very durable:thumbup2:

and this is the glow in absolute darkness result after a 2 second charge under a light. Glow lasted 20 minutes.

I used to sell mini stick on arrows which were very popular, but I have to say yours are a brilliant idea, how about adding a rear de-mist decal?

These were my ones...

Yours look way better than mine. TOTALLY NOS look.
I avoided the thin vinyl lines mainly because they are prone to be rubbed off. More surface = more stick power.
Hence my difficulty in creating a durable defrost version... :text-imnewhere:

I am looking in to it however.

Someone also made stickers with fog light symbol as well to go on a blank switch. Was that you James? My car came with one so don't know where the PO got it from.

This is called "product placement".
Having a show about A and actually selling product B.
In the "Product placement" case show A makes a profit from product B.
So in my case, the term Thread-jacking is more like it :P

I was about to release the similar ones like you have James, but since you still offer them, I am not going to create competition.
