I think the only one of those in the UK is firmly attached to mec's car: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=68

Blimey that's an old picture ! that was at the Channel 4 Heston Blumenthal tv shoot day in 2010.
I'm reliable informed mines the only one in the UK, since that picture I've had all my kit off and on and repainted so i don't really want to take it all off again, I would say though that I wouldn't mould a front splitter/spoiler from fibreglass like the kit is made of, as I've found out over the last 5 odd years it really doesn't like speed humps especially Irish and French ones ! I've had to rebuild one corner twice, I've been looking round for a flexible alternative, there are a couple of ideas I've had, one is to have 2 mk1 focus spoilers and have the join behind the front no plate or 2 Renault Laguna mk1 spoilers again joined the in the middle, I think the focus ones would be better as they are rubber and the Laguna ones are black semi flexible plastic,
just my thoughts of course its up to you what you want to make ;)

Cheer for the info.

Re the front splitter. I make panels for rallycross cars, so can manufacture the front splitter in a way that it will take some serious abuse. :)

who is the guy that had or has this car? apparently he took the body kit off it to return it to stock?

Out of curiosity how would you make the front splitter stronger ? does the process damage the existing paintwork on the panel your moulding it off etc ?

no it doesnt damage the paintwork.

I've made a few molds off painted cars without damaging the paint.

Fibreglass parts are usually lots of resin, and a little chopped strand mat.

I use woven glass, and chopped strand, its then rollered/compressed to make the parts very strong.

I can also put kevlar into the high stress areas (like corners, or mounts)
