Thanks, they look absolutely smashing, but i'm even more excited about the effect of the cleaned fuel injectors!

Shouldn't be an issue I think. The distributor (and perhaps the manifold) will come off anyway to install new HT leads. But thanks!

Ok, so my dad thinks it is wise to test/change the fuel injectors in November while i can still take test drives, as the dec/jan/feb months are no options with the oldtimer reduced tax rules here. Any tips/hints/suggestions on how to do this? i'm saving jars, and the intake will have to come off anyway for the HT-leads. no need for a VOD check.

Nothing major I can think of Rob. I had removed that bastard 4 times in 3 weeks due to my water pump issues. All I can say is that installing the SS lines is a bit tricky cause they are not as flexible. I suggest screw them on the injectors and then put them in place.

Plus remember the vacuum hosing routing.. Although there is a pretty straight forward diagram right over your head in the lower engine cover.

I've done the intake before, when I was doing the water pipe, once for the water hoses and once for the VOD, so i'm confident about that. It's the fuel lines and injectors i've never worked on before!

But aren't the injectors screwed in which makes it impossible to attach them first? I can't remember I may have disconnected them at the distributor last time. I'm getting older and I start forgetting things.
