In answer to the original post about buying from Special T Auto......

I thank everyone for telling me how bad it is to deal with this company and have decided not to place an order.
I can also verify that the service is bad... Sent him an email on 28/12/14, over 2 weeks later no response.
I have managed to source most things from UK or will order from DMC EU.

Also found these sleeves on ebay to fix up my drive flanges.
They are stainless and 1/3rd the price of SKF sleeves.

Excellent find there. Any chance you can put details of the supplier on?

Yes, rear crank seal (behind flywheel)

As long as they send a genuine reinz part

Yeh good look with that, the bloke is a complete knob, be lucky if you get it for Jan 2016.

Don't listen to them Daniel, Gay Dan's the main culprit in all this, he managed to piss Hervey off by sperning his advances. Mr Hervey's 'bread' lands butter side down if you see what I mean, he saw Dan coming on his gaydar, they had a tiff and that was it!!! That's why we call him Hervey the Pervey. Mind you, Dan is not so appealing as he used to be , this last year or so he has started to develop facial hair and doesn't look so..............cute!!!

Just received the victor reinz seal I ordered on eBay and I believe it to be fake. It came from Lithuania too! See picture. I have requested money back and to return item.
Any comments on where to get genuine one with 2 inner lip seals and ribbed outter?

Is Andy's post (3 above this one) not what you need?

I have ordered that through Kimbercarparts this time as he suggests. I will post a picture once I receive that one to see if they are different.
Essentially I ordered the same part off eBay but it looks cheap and not genuine. Will continue when I have delivery of the other one. DJ

Weird. That looks rather more like the Elring part I got at a local motor factors (GSF). Smooth sided and single lipped. I didn't install it.

But it may be that the part you received is still technically a Reinz part, and they just buy in generic seals, and you take what you get?? Just a thought.

Though maybe they were trying to pull a fast one. Which is odd, as the Reinz seals are not particularly expensive (unlike for example the Renault part, which looks different again).

But I think that you can get if from (for example) Kimber for about hald of what you paid?

I do not know for certain that the Kimber part you will receive will be ribbed and double lipped. Maybe best to phone/ email them and ask?

Also best to check this too Arran, if you were thinking of buying a quantity of these in...

Cheers

EDIT: Looking at it again, it is not identcial to the Elring part.

Ok so I just received another Reinz seal this time from Kimbercarparts.
See image below. Tim (@kimber)comments that he has one more on the shelf UK and more in Germany.
Although you pay for next day delivery it took them one week to get it to me.
