Hi All,

I am the new owner of this lovely Delorean previously owned by Lester. I can say the car is beautiful and I am very happy with my purchase. It looks like Lester has done all the bits required to get this example back up to spec after reading various comments found searching Google using the VIN (after I purchased the car).

To own a Delorean has been my boyhood dream (I am 32 so obviously the Back to the Future trilogy had a lot to do with this) and all I can say is I'm chuffed to bits! These cars (at the moment) are within reach to working class people like me and even better look like they will be easy to keep going too, unlike the Ferrari's and Lambo's of the same era that might have been blue tacked to the bedroom wall in poster form.

I collected the car from Lester in Norfolk recently and have already covered a couple of hundred miles. It is a bit daunting driving a left hooker on a British road and the visibility can be a challenge but it adds the the excitement of owning a piece of motoring history... A legend!

A lot of people I know have been asking me if i purchased the car as an investment and my answer to them is simply No. I have never owned a car and made money on it... Every car I have owned has lost money (a lot in most cases), obviously these cars are in a different category but I intend to enjoy it as much as possible with my family and friends and hopefully instill some awesome memories for my two young boys who love Daddy's "Spaceship Car".

Thank you... Still smiling ear to ear. Yes, she's left the County and is now tucked away just outside of North Milton Keynes.
