Poorly researched article!

Postby andyd » Fri Jul 03, 2015 3:18 pm

http://www.classicandperformancecar.com ... rket-watch

Dave Selby needs to do a bit of research before putting pen to paper!! Especially as it is meant to be a "Market Watch"...

Which market Dave? The Barras??

(for those not familiar with the wonderful Glasgow institution -->
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glasgow_Barrowland_market )

Specifically :

" Generally cars above £20,000 are lower-mileage timewarp examples, with decent roadable examples from £10,000 and up.

But the rarest DMC-12 of all would be a high-mileage example – no-one’s ever seen one… "

10k ??!! When? :text-imnewhere:

Especially As The Linked article At The Bottom Of The Page states

"In 2012 a 326-mile Back to the Future promo car made £29,120." - which car was that?! I think I remember a car selling for that price at auction? But I can't recall its link to BTTF promotion.

Guy's what you must take in to consideration with this article is that he is talking about all the manual one's!!!

even Quinten Wilson admitted he would definitely own an Auto Delorean, and why??? because they are mighty!!!

It was 05598 and the phrasing was "It was employed in the promotion of BTTF", whatever that means
