They did, it's called 'Tankzilla' - no longer available. Essentially it was a saab fuel sender with a logic box to convert the signal.

Lesson 1 - stick to NOS parts where possible, or known quality replacements (i.e. the UK lower balljoint).

I would much rather pay a bit more for a decent part, than for some cheap piece of crap that doesn't perform the job as well as the original, and/or falls to bits within a short period of time.

This is the main issue that's been the problem of late, to make parts viable for a limited market they are having stuff reproduced at the cheapest price possible, and consequently they fail. If you read the sema document at the start of the thread it states :- The vehicles are required to meet current model year emissions standards. you wouldn't be able to do that on mechanical fuel injection system, WW and his side kick would have to invest heavily in an aftermarket fuel system that is compatible with the PRV or source another engine altogether, either way its got to be financially viable for them to do this

I went in the electric delorean when I visited DMCH years ago. I have to say it was VERY quick, also smooth and quiet. Not much use for the road trips though because of the limited range.

No news yet on drivetrains or specs etc
