That's a loaded question!

It transfers some of the forces that would normally be passed to the anti roll bar (when the wheel is "dragged" by braking or bumps) to the main lower pivot. It's for improving the handling. We had a huge discussion on this on DMCTalk and I'm not convinced. It's kind of trying to make the lower arm into a wishbone without eliminitaing the problem of the lower arm tracking the end of the anti roll bar.... "treating the symptoms and not the disease". Everyone who has fitted them likes them, but it's interesting to know that they hit the shock tower if you drive like Andrea.

Sorry to see that bent bit, but otherwise that frame looks stunning! i've been having a POS-attack these last days so i'm glad to see something nice.

No way did the heat do that!! They are making an excuse i think. More like the strap to lower it into the tank was pulled tight or it was dropped on something.
