Ive just watched all the video's on you tube, then I saw the last video and this thread.
My advice is to just leave it, dont do anything else to it at all, your best to leave it to someone who knows what their doing, and I dont mean that in a horrible way, just seems best for the car.
I would seriously think about these offers your getting too.

Its great that theres so much help in this club and we can all look at sorting the car out at eurotec, but somehow I dont think this car is for you. How long have you had it?

That last video was hard to watch, It really doesnt look like the car needs too much work either!

Aaron, any answers to Phil questions?

Chris N cant sort a door in time, he is running very short on timescales.

I am seeing if Ed can bring one

Arron, you've gone quiet, if you need a door you can have the drivers door off my other car, it won't cost you anything as long as you replace it, and you have to sort out transport for it, let me know 07710566035, but you gonna have to decide soon, it's no good a few days before because it ain't gonna happen, time is not one of my commodities

We may be able to help with transport. We have a consigment going from Essex on the Friday I believe - plenty of room for a door.

Also we can then FREE transport your door back to Chris N, who may be able to fix it after all.

Aaron

Just seen this thread. sorry to hear about what happened. These chaps can just whip out the door and put you a new one in. no worries im sure. Don't know the state of the torque in the door support, but I'm sure Chris N can sort that out too.

Mike's mentioned about damage to the torsion bar and hinges. what i will say is for you to check that your fibreglass isn't cracked along the centre roof section (all depends on the state of your steel support brace in the centre).

and you're right, it's a good opportunity to get new headliners, mate.

I'm going to admit to the following to make you feel better:

Last year when i was embarking on this restoration of 3193, i was working on stripping the doors down. The door hinges were rusted through and nothing was holding the doors on except gravity and the latches. Sat in the passenger seat i went to get out and pulled on the handle which released (both!) latches. The door popped open came sliding away from the roof section and hit the floor and slid partially underneath the car. I felt like an idiot as I KNEW I'd removed the gas struts and the wiring harness but didn't have the foresight to understand what would happen when i 'opened' the door. The door had minor damage to the front lower side and is still sporting a bruse from that event. No great shakes, shit happens.

Aaron, can you post some pics of the area where the door hinges are? Might show up what damage, if any, there is to the hinges, torsion bar, strut, etc. It did look like the door twisted a lot there, so maybe as said above there could be hidden damage to the fibreglass and roof support metal work which you cant see.
Just replacing the door may not fix it 100%, what about sending the car to Grady's for work? Where are you based?
