Sorry I couldn't make it to the drive. I was last in the line of cars and my car started to overheat about a mile outside the hotel. Some kind neighbors provided me with hot water and I limped back. Ed had a look over the car, water pump is fine, no leaks, otterstat works, radiator is fine. Looks like its the thermostat valve above the water pump. Anyway I made it home last night with no problems

Everything ok now Kev?, I know you mentioned that you had trouble with the Joe Cool?

I hope too you're ok now Kevin! It sure was a hot day. Remember I said I have never seen my fans come on? Well last saturday on the trip to the castle they kicked in. (Note that my A/C is busted so the fans only come up if the otterstat says so).

I also want to thank you specifically for your help with the baffle filter replacement. I would have never started that job on my own. I dare not tell my dad i've spend half an hour with my arm halfway into a full fuel tank. :D

I've not used the Joe Cool since I got it cos' the relays in it don't engage unless they get more than 12v, which doesn't happen at idle. So I still have the wire fix in place. Eds sending me a new Thermostat. Sometimes I hate that car so much - it always lets me down. Some day I'm gonna take a hammer to it.

Rob - it was great to meet you and work together on our cars. I had to do a bit more work on my fuel pump when i got home to remove a kink in the pipe.

I was so busy with my hand down the fuel tanks I never got my pic taken with the "lovely girls"

Hello everybody.....

I just wanted to say what an amazing group of people you guys are. It was really-really great to finally meet you all in person. I enjoyed myself from the time we got there and until we had to say our goodbyes. I think we all miss Caley Hall already. The food......OMG......what can I say about the food?! The food was amazing!....and the beers. And to Arran, thanks for putting Dan and I up in the 'honeymoon suite'. Alistair, I hope you're enjoying your new taillights. And most of all, a really big thank you for the EuroTec mug and bear. It's a pleasure being your U.S.A. Rep. I have some photos attached below.

Until next year or sooner, see you all then! :D

Suz
