I was gonna come back monday too, seems pointless rushing off early on the sunday anyway, even if I came back on sunday it would be later than 10am so the hangover can clear up.

OK, I think on the whole most of us in the South are agreed on Holyhead - the choice is just down to Stena v Irish Ferries, with the only realy difference being the return time on the Sunday - Back in Wales at 15:15 with Stena, or 16:30 with Irish Ferries. So that is the decision we have to make.

I am easy eaither way but my vote is with Stena (which means leaving Belfast just after 10am), purely so I don't have to drive through Wales in the dark. Anyone else?

Hmmm... I wondered why my ears were burning!

Alan and I were planning a nice leisurely return on Monday too. So, glad to hear we won't be alone!

OK, well it's still no difference in prices between the two ferries, and the times are the same on Monday.

Outward the times are roughly the same. The only difference is the return times:

Stena is:
Dublin 13:15 Wales 15:14

Irish Ferries is:
Dublin 14:30 Wales 16:30


We can all go on the same ferry on the way out, and go back in two groups on the Sunday then Monday on the way back, we just need to decide which ferry company to use.

Hi all..... I'm staying in Belfast Sunday night and getting the ferry back Monday .... I have to say the Stena ferry sounds best as I'd like to start heading home before it gets too dark.... What do u think Carl?...

Malc & I are going a day earlier so we can have a bit of a chill out the day before it all kicks off. Then we leave late Sunday night, 10pm ferry which gets us back to Liverpool at 6am Monday. For those not too far south, it's another option
